Copyright Enforcement Program
Mission Statement: Our firm represents artists, photographers, film makers and other creative people and the companies, like Getty Images, that support and represent these artists.
We are dedicated to helping make sure that creative works are protected. Our goal is to help make sure artists and photographers are paid for their work. Part of doing that is helping to communicate when an unauthorized use (copyright infringement) occurs and making a request for payment.
Demand Letter: The first letter we send out is sometimes called a “cease and desist” letter because we ask that if the image is being used without permission that the unauthorized use stop. This is sometimes called a “demand letter” because we are typically requesting payment for the use as well.
Our Clients: We represent many stock image companies. We have informational pages relating to each company, including the following: Getty Images, Alfred Molon, Gallery Stock, StockFood USA, Garden World/Floramedia.

Education: Ignorance of the law has never been a defense. Know the law. Education is the key.
“This confluence of two important tributaries – copyright enforcement and copyright education – is part of what excites me about what I do as an attorney,”
McCormack says about his practice.
There is a lot of misinformation on the internet, with various websites promoting their own agendas. We can’t give you legal advice, but we politely remind you of the old adage: “Buyer Beware” meaning that you should be careful about what you read on the internet. Look at different sources and weigh the credibility of the information you read and the source. Any librarian would tell you the same!
To help accused infringers and other better understand what we do, who we represent and what the law is.
